Mind set is powerful

our prior knowledge, our culture, our stagnant environment let us be what other want us to be… rite… lets thinks about this…

if one is government servant– what is the indicator that makes ones selected to be ‘Cemerlang’- is it punctuality, number of task completed (KPI’s), best communication skill (bodek), good documentation, never take the leave, interpersonal skills? how your ‘ketua jabatan’ evaluate you and your contribution. have you ever wondered, why some of your collegues that are so so- get better ‘markah prestasi’ than yours. or is it merely based on seniority?…What is the best about Government Servant is the security coz it is very rare to hear Government Servant get fired or get VSS… And what the best about government servant is easy to get Loan…Short term pleasure and long term hassle…

if one is non-govt servant/private– how do ones selected to have better positions. just be ‘good’ to boss, or ‘profit’ based..? . and what will happen if one day, you cant work anymore? what will happen after 50 yrs, are they still wanted to hire you, or choose the ‘newly fresh’ applicant to replace you? are you profitable for the company? are they will just ‘use’ you for the sake of company and ‘dump’ you when you are not fortunate…

previously (Me) in one of GLC- i can say, it is based on ‘human subjective’ evalution… that’s why, we can hear arguments comes from our mind keep on telling us to be ‘a boss- have control on our income’ or a least  treat equally performance-based. But actually we control our own achievement, why depend on someone else?

change tour mind set. set your new goal to be self-hiring. be proud to tell that ‘i have my own business’. but how to do so?

listen to the right person. minggle with those make desicion to have own business. dont be shy to attend courses to indulge the spirit in you. rite down what you really want your life. it is not easy, but own mind keep on changing, some may takes time. so feed you mind with positive thinking to take a challenge as an oppurtunity. prove to yourself that your can transform, so you can led your own life they way you wanted it to be.

it is not easy… but remember- you can as long as you have determination and willingness.

I buy some self-improvement talk cds and put the cd in car to listen while driving. i do believe that my semi conscious mind capturing the idea even i’m concentrating on the road.

as far, i can say that it sharpen my desicion making to think positif- take a thread as a challange, take a problem as an oppurtunity, open heart for more emotions, broaden mind for new ideas, enhance public speech and look (i mean physical appearance) more professional…

i have a long list about what i want and wanted to do in my life. Just working for company, serving bosses, dealing with machine and subordinates- i dont think that i can fulfill my dream. if company hire me becouse they believe i can give them profit, why do i doubt about my capabilities? i can make profit for my self, yet have control on my life to achieve my dreams.

so,  i want to transform my life, are you want to join me?

being a ‘takaful/financial consultant let me work on my own way, on my own  place, on my own preferable time, with any one i like. hey, i’m choosing the product i represent. i choose the company that i wanted to be. the most important, i’m selling my service- so clients is the most important aspect (not the bos).  i have full responsible on my achievement, my incomes, my life. seems  my life getting better in term of satisfaction. tired but happy. relax but serious.

all i can say- now i find the best tune for me to dance with…. anyone wanted to accompany me to the dance floor… follow the beat and create your own move….

Focus

I’ve met so many people. Out of all we can differentiate them under three class. The first one is the unsuccessful people (I’ll label as A group) then come the moderate people (label as B group) and lastly the successful people (label as C group).  The main thing to categorized them is basically they way they think. Let discuss one of them. It is their focus. Almost all in A group focus on the failure and C group is focusing on the opposite.

For example when someone propose an idea on modifying a  fan to make it efficient.

Group A will say: Susah nak buat ni. Banyak benda nak kene tukar, itu pun belum tentu jadi lagi. Silap-silap rosak.

Group B will say: Tak payah tukar-tukar la. macam ni pun dah elok.

Group C will say: Bagus tu. Kalo kita tukar bilah kipas ni bagi panjang sikit pastu bagi lebar sikit..Mesti sejuk punya.

From this dialog we can see the difference. When we are focusing on failure we gives excuses and will keep complaining. Group A will demotivate them self and the people around them. Group B is someone who are in the comfort zone. They feel comfortable with what ever have now and don’t want any change. This group is a good client prospect. they meant for secure living. The last group is C group. This group is always seeking for change. They are opportunist to try new things and focus on success.

Insyaallah, those who focus on success will success. So, focus on what you up to and pray to the Almighty.

“Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls)” Surah Ar-Ra’d (ayat 11)
